WHB Automotive is a Brazilian, family-owned company, headquartered in Curitiba/Brazil. The company produces out of its manufacturing plants in Brazil for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive OEMs, in Brazil and abroad, several raw and fully finished components, such as:
- STEEL FORGINGS – connecting rods, crankshafts, wheel hubs, axle ends, king pins etc;
- CAST IRON – cylinder blocks and heads, bearing caps, bed plates, exhaust manifolds, crankshafts, brake carriers & calipers, differential cases, rail shoulders, slack adjusters, axle housings, wheel hubs, front supports, crankshafts, spider brakes etc;
- ALUMINUM – cylinder blocks and heads, cylinder head covers, clutch housings, transmission housings, oil pans etc;
MACHINING – all the above products.
For the production of raw parts, WHB Automotive currently has a total capacity of 250k ton/yr of iron castings (Kunkel Wagner and Disamatic molding lines), 6.5k ton/yr of aluminum castings (HPDC & gravity of up to 23 kg/pc) and 10k ton/yr of steel forgings of up to 17 kg/pc. WHB Automotive counts with over 700 machining centers for a variety of components types and sizes.
