The measurement system helps you and your customers in the planning and quality control of winter maintenance activities on the roads and at the airports. The system reports the following road surface information: surface condition, coefficient of friction, water layer thickness, ice layer thickness. Optional measurements include surface temperature and dew point. The measurement data are available for review in the measurement vehicle, e.g. a road maintenance patrol car, and will be further transmitted to winter maintenance centers for display on the client’s system, or to Teconer’s server for review in the Mobile Road Condition Map at https://roadweather.online/.
