THE EFFECT: Lead compounds are added to the fuel in order to prevent engine pinking and valve damage. Older cars therefore have to run on leaded fuel some or all the time. Dosing 1:1000/concentrate (e.g. content of 250ml-dosing bottle is sufficient for 250 liters petrol fuel).
