EtherCAT®-CAN Gateway (CAN-EtherCAT);
Das CAN-EtherCAT-Gateway kann CAN-Module mit CANopen (CiA DS 301) oder Layer-2 (ISO 11898-1) Implementation mit einem Real-time EtherCAT-Netzwerk verbinden. Die EtherCAT-Slave-Funktionalität entspricht dem ETG Modular Device Profile No. 5000. Das CAN-EtherCAT lässt sich außerdem als Ethernet-Switch-Port mit EoE-Protokoll (Ethernet-over-EtherCAT) konfigurieren. Firmware-Updates sind über ein Web-Interface (EoE) oder FoE (File access-over-EtherCAT) möglich. Die High-Speed CAN-Schnittstelle entspricht ISO 11898-2 und ist für Übertragungsraten von 50 kBit/s bis zu 1 MBit/s geeignet. Die 100BASE-TX EtherCAT-Schnittstelle ist kompatibel zu IEEE802.3 und wird mit 100 MBit/s betrieben. Sowohl die CAN- als auch die EtherCAT-Schnittstelle sind galvanisch getrennt. Kundenspezifische Anpassungen sind auf Nachfrage möglich.
