CAHORS LA COMMANDERY 2010;

Powerful and greedy Cahors Finesse and concentration. The nose evokes blackcurrant, blackcherry, plum, balckberry, cigars, nutmeg and cedarwod. Supple in the mouth, with softened tannins, it calls to mind cherry, raspberry and liquorice. A wine which can wait for some years. Serve decanted (or opened several hours previously) before enjoying at about 15-16°. Suggest accompaniment: Quercy farm lamb, duck breast, cepes, salers Cantal cheese.
