The SafanDarley brand originates from 2012, when the Safan and Darley brands were merged. Thanks to its rich history, Safan BV and Darley BV have the experience to operate in the top segment of the sheet metal processing market today.
Safan BV was founded in 1960 as a welding pool of 5 Dutch manufacturers in the field of machines and tools for the sheet metal processing industry. The most important of these producers and the driving force in Safan's development was Wila of Lochem. Since 1932, the company has been working as an engineering business for the sheet metal processing industry. Darley BV was founded in 1934 as a machinery factory, then as a supplier for the then state mines, and after 1957 it began to specialize in hydraulic sheet metal working machines. Innovative genes Since then, both companies have recorded significant milestones and patents. Darley, for example, has not achieved a prominent position with high-quality hydraulic press brakes, but is also the market leader in the cathode processing industry thanks to cathode shears. In 1995, Safan held one of the most important patents in the sheet metal processing industry: the servo-electronic drive of the E-brake pressure brake. This valuable electronic pressure brake has caused a huge e-voltage in the sheet metal processing industry. The increasing demand in the international market led to a significant expansion of the Lochem plant in 2009. SafanDarley BV was established in 2013 as a joint sales and service organization. In total, the three companies form a healthy and financially strong group. 160 staff. The group is part of Nivora Holding, which includes BEWO Cutting Systems and Style CNC Machines. .
